Jason Campbell

Jason Campbell teaches Biology and is the head boy’s and girl’s tennis coach at Schaumburg High School (a western suburb of Chicago).  Kristin teaches British Literature, American Literature, Volleyball and Scrap booking at a home-school Co-op and she pioneers a variety of crafty home and internet ventures.  Jason & Kristin have four energetic boys (Jacob – 7, Joshua – 5 & Jackson 3 and Jordan 8 months).  The Campbells make their home in Elgin, IL.  They are excited to be involved in their local Church (Lombard Gospel Chapel) in Lombard, IL.  As long time fans of the retreat and youth work in general, Jason & Kristin are currently serving on the Winter Youth Retreat Council.

Keith Hadley

Keith lives with his wife, Sandra, and two kids, Caleb (8) and Sofia (4) just outside of Chicago, IL.  Professionally, he is a corporate Training & Development Manager focusing mainly on leadership skills and organizational behavior.  He spent the last seven years working for the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago.  He is pursuing his MBA and now works for Careerbuilder.com, the largest online recruiting website.  He knows what it’s like to be the business-light in a Christian organization and to be the Christian-light in a business organization.  He prays daily for opportunities to live out his faith at work and for the courage to honorably represent Jesus Christ.  Keith & Sandra met at the Winter Youth Retreat and have been involved in many aspects of the ministry in the past.  They are thrilled to come back again in 2006!

Kevin Ledgister

Kevin is currently a middle-aged man going through a mid-life crisis. He has taken up wearing silk shirts (well, at least 1% silk), gold chains (the gold has rubbed off), and has a sports car (with enough room for two kid seats in the back). He has moved up in the world from being born in Jamaica, raised in Toronto, and now lives in the thriving metropolis of Wausau, the heartbeat of America, going north each time. He and his lovely wife, Linnea, have spawned four children and for a career, travels all across the country telling businesses to buy lots of expensive stuff.

John Lyman

The Lord removed John Lyman from Whirlpool engineering over 22 years ago but he still  thinks like an engineer to some people's fear and others amusement. His six grandchildren try to keep him young at heart. Karen is the second one to take her turn living with him and a third granddaughter is waiting in line. A young men's Bible study during the school year and summer camps along with awaiting the arrival of his second great grandchild compose the highlights of his life since moving from Minneapolis to Grand Rapids, Michigan almost 4 years ago.

Todd Van Ryn

Todd is passionate about studying and sharing God’s Word. He has been a speaker/teacher at Bible camps, retreats and conferences in the U.S., Canada and Latin America for the past 25 years. Recently he accepted the Pastor responsibilities at Merrill Bible Church (Merrill, WI) where he also has been leading a weekly Spanish service for the past 3 years. With their family motto of “addicted to the service of the saints” (1 Cor. 16:15), they also operate 5 Loaves & 2 Fish, which is a bookstore ministry with 5 stores in Wisconsin and Illinois. Todd, and his wife of 24 ½ years – Sherry, also have five children: Brittany, Cody, Dilan, Austin and Carley – all present at WYR 2006. Their home church is Bible Truth Chapel in Wausau, WI.

Steve Witter

Steve was born and raised on a dairy farm in South-Central Pennsylvania.   He came to faith in Christ at the age of 4, and truly believes that to be the point in his life when new life began.  The ups and downs of his teenage years were culminated in his commitment to live for God and to serve the Lord Jesus at the age of 19.  Because the decisions that he made early in life, Steve is passionate about teaching the Word of God to young people.  For the past 12 years, he has served that Lord at Emmaus Bible College , serving currently as the Director of Advancement and as a faculty member in the youth ministries department.  He and his wife Wendy are the parents of Joann 18, and Emily 15.
